Why Is Casket Selection Important
When Planning Earth-Friendly Burials?
The entire casket is biodegradable, so only natural materials are used in the interior as well as the exterior of the container. These are modest, yet simple caskets with wooden dowels instead of nails or screws. The caskets are made entirely from wood, typically with 1/8" to 1/4" gaps between the boards or several holes drilled in the bottom to hasten decomposition and the body's return to earth.
