Chapman - David Merrill , age 86 Years.
He passed away om Jan. 29, 2010 at the Creighton Medical Center at the age of 86. Mr. Chapman was born in Des Moines, Iowa on Sept. 10, 1923 and relocated to Omaha in 1946 after recieving a degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa. Mr. Chapman was owner of Omaha Clothing Company and two other clothing stores formerly located in The Center and Westroads, Lollipop Lane and Gadabout. He was also co-owner of House of Cards, located at The Center, and Pizza Inn, a restaurant located in Dundee.
Mr. Chapman was also a well respected auto salesman. He worked for Briley (now Baxter) Chrsler-Plymouth, Beardmore Chevrolet, Regan Lincoln Mercury and Plaza Pontiac-Buick-GMC from which he retired in 2005. Mr. Chapman recieved numerous sales awards during his tenure. He also served as Chairman of the Westroads Merchants Association from 1975 - 1978, and was an active member of Ak-SAR-BEN and Kiwanis.
Mr. Chapman is survived by his wife, Reva; daughter and son in law, Susan and Sheldon Schwartz; sons and daughters in law, Stuart and Hope Chapman, Robert and Sandra Chapman; grandson, Kenneth Schwartz; three step grandchildren, Holly, Stephen and James Kuperman. Mr Chapman was preceded in death by his brother, Norris in 1991.

Interment: Beth El Cemetery, 84th and L Street Omaha, Nebraska
