Andrew Brunner (April 2, 1984 - April 13, 2017) is survived by his parents, John and Marie-Laure Brunner of Bellevue, his three siblings, Peter Brunner (Nastia Rodionova), Jeffrey (Maria) Thouron, and Cassie Brunner, as well as many relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Evelyn Brunner of Omaha and René and Denise Thouron of Paris.
Andrew grew up in Florence and attended North High, graduating in 2003. An employee of Baker's for more than fifteen years, Andrew worked his way up in the seafood department and into management, making countless friends along the way.
Andrew will be remembered as a very special person, who always helped the people around him and asked for very little in return because everyone mattered to him. He had a delightful personality consistently warm and caring, calm and kind, collected and humble, soft-spoken and generous. A close friend and long-time colleague described Andrew as "an amazing human being.” He helped his family build their home in Bellevue, along with the rest of his immediate family. Recently, he was helping another relative raise young children in the home they shared in Council Bluffs. He was an unassuming and unsung role model for those around him.

I remember when AB started working at Bakers back in November of 2000... I helped train him on the front end, and we always worked the late shifts that no one else wanted... I remember when he moved into the departments at the store and excelled from the get-go... he was so hardworking and never complained. He was a great person, and never judged others, accepted everyone... he was quiet and kind... he will truly be missed by many, his patience and kindness have touched many, until we meet again my friend... until we meet again...

Andy you were always there when you were needed. So smart and intelligent! Kind hearted.... Generous with smiles and love. You will be missed by many but remembered by all that were blessed enough to have met you!

He will be missed by many. Remembered by all that had the blessing of meeting him. He was a wealth of information and would help family and friends in need. Too young to go. You will be missed and loved forever!
