John and I and our sons were neighbors of JoElla and Pat for almost 30 years. They were great neighbors, thoughtful and kind, helpful and generous. I have missed JoElla ever since we moved and send our sincere condolences to her family and many friends in Omaha and The Auction Center. JoElla was one of a kind!

Very seldom do you get to know and have a great friend as Joella.
We will remember and miss her always.

I am very saddened at the passing of Joella. It is hard for me to write this as I am still in a bit of a shock. We last spoke on my visit to her on her 90th birthday.
I always enjoyed my conversations with her. She had a powerful personality that commanded respect. Something that was not well know was she was a very generous person. She was a very good listener. Overall the world is a poorer place without her. She will be missed.

Joella was my mother's best friend but she was more than that to me - she was my friend, my teacher and my mentor. She taught me to be independent, to believe in myself and to live life to the fullest. What a classy lady and exceptional person. I am sorry I cannot get there to say "Goodbye" but I am there in spirit, in love and prayers to all who knew her well and loved her so much.
