Preceded in death by parents, John and Jean Carter.  Survived by husband of 46 years, Mike Hyland; daughters, Susan (Marvin) Sanders and Michaela (Geoff) Humphrey; grandchildren, Chandler and Payton Sanders and Jaxson Humphrey; siblings: Kathleen (George) Pfeffer, David Carter, Hugh Carter, Ellen (Raul) Saldivar, and John (Raylene) Carter; many nieces and nephews.

    I worked with Carol for many years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska. Always appreciated her sense of humor. She loved her family very much and was very proud of them. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and send my sincerest sympathy to her family.
