I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Know that the support of your family and friends and your faith in God will help you through this trying time. I still remember how kind and supportive Dr. Peters was to me when my sister passed away 30 years ago. I can't help but think that Michael must have had the same sense of caring and compassion for others. Know that his spirit will always be with you.

    Dear Dave and family,
My heart and prayers go out to you at this time of loss. I lost my younger sister on Christmas Day, she laid down to rest and that morning and did not wake up. She was ten years younger than me and my only sibling. I can only imagine the loss you and your family must be feeling at this time. I did not know Michael, but I knew you, Dave, very well from our "principal-sharing days". You are a great leader in our schools and a dedicated dad. I pray that peace and comfort will soon lift you up from this time of sorrow. You have MANY friends praying for all of you. God bless and I continue to admire your work with the boys at Mount Michael!! Love and prayers always, Chris

    Dear Dave, Nancy,Liz, and Sam,
It was a shock to learn of Micheal's passing. I can see you all years ago with toddler Michael in the halls of St. Louis Childrens. You allowed Michael to live the best life possible and reach for the stars. May memories, love and faith get you through the days ahead. Prayers and love from the Murphys

Over the years, your family has endured many challenges. Michael's share was significant but his legacy is magnificent. The participation of your family in the procurement and information for those in need of the help their fellow man, is that legacy for your son. He is a handsome man and a person worthy of honor for his life. I know that at his earliest time he presented a challenge, but his family, parents, siblings and friends have all offered their prayers and support and now celebrate his existence. I doubt that anyone can calculate the influence his life has had on the community.. Without him your family may not have become involved in the efforts that you have offered, but with him you have all changed the path of those around- you. A statue to him, would not do him or you the gratitude that this community will come to know but the lives of your family will create a better image than could ever be proposed. Thank you all for what you have shared.
