Visitation: Visitation will begin Friday at 1:00 pm at the John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, Pacific Street Chapel, 14151 Pacific Street Omaha, NE. 68154, with the family present at 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  with a Memorial Service to be held at 6:00 pm. 

Inurnment: A private inurnment service will be held at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to the Josie Harper Hospice House.

Bob was born in Carbon, Iowa, graduated from the Corning High School in 1951, entered the U. S. Army in 1953 and was stationed in Eielson AFB, Alaska. Bob founded Imperial Tile Co. in 1963 and it grew into one of the Midwest’s largest floor covering stores, concentrating on servicing a clientele of some of Omaha’s premier homebuilders.

Bob’s hobbies included any kind of auto racing, but especially local dirt track racing of which he participated in as a driver in the 1950’s. He also enjoyed a game of golf , now and then and in the early days was an avid bowler. He also liked to relax and watch the waves on the Florida beaches.

He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Lucy McKee; brothers, Willard and Bryon (Marvel) McKee; sisters, Eileen (Bing) Freshour and Marjorie (Allen) Miller. Survived by his sister, Diane (Tony) Dock; sister in law, Nola Comstock; sons, Larry (Lisa) McKee, Steve (Julie) McKee; daughter, Teri (Allan) Peterson; grandkids, Robert, Jamie, Chris and Eric; 8 great grandchildren.


Foley, Dean C. Age 91

Graveside Service: Saturday 11:00 AM at Mountain View Cemetery, 2120 S. 2nd Avenue, Walla Walla, Washington.

Visitation with the Family: Saturday 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at Colonial-Dewitt Funeral Home, 1551 Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla, Washington.

Dean C. Foley born in Pomeroy, Washington.  He was in the Navy stationed in Hawaii during WWII. Following the war, he graduated from the University of Idaho. He attended graduate school at West Virginia University and earned his PhD from Penn State. He became a professor at Iowa State University where he worked for 34 years in the field of Agriculture.Some of Dean's favorite pastimes were flying, sailing and traveling the world. He was known to be an avid reader and an all around generous and caring man.

Preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Isabelle Foley; brother, Jack Foley; and son, Richard Foley.

Dean is survived by his wife, Patricia Foley; son, Roger Foley; daughter, Kathleen Foley (Brian Greene); daughter, Karen Foley; sister, Jean Aitken; sister, Gay Laverty; brother, Michael Foley; two grandchildren, one great grandchild, three nieces, and five nephews.
