Vernon Lee Frey, the oldest son of George and Alice Frey, was born in Mott, ND.  He grew up in Elgin, ND and graduated from Elgin High School in 1964.  He went on to graduate from Dickinson College in 1968 with a degree in Business Administration.  Vernon married the lovely Bonna Hirning on December 27, 1967.

 

Vernon joined the US Air Force in 1969 and retired as Chief Master Sergeant in 1998 after just under 30 years of dedicated service.  Vernon embarked on his second career with Methodist Hospital in 1998, retiring in 2014. He leaves behind wife, Bonna and three daughters, Kristie M. Traver, Melissa (Jeff)McGary, and Allycia (Carl “Chuck”) Bray.  He was blessed with five granddaughters, Brighton “Bright Eyes” Traver, Kyla and Fallyn Richardson, Leah and Taylor Bray; and a feisty great granddaughter, Kiley Suwe.  He is also survived by a brother, Jerry Frey; aunts Freida Jacober, Marge Edwardson, and Rose Hawn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins who were also very dear to him.

 

MEMORIAL SERVICE Tuesday at 5:30PM at the Bellevue/Sarpy County Chapel.

Olga is survived by loving husband, Jim Goodbout; son, Joe Nagel; mother, Pauline Marchio; sister, Gina (Dick) Browning; brothers, Paul Marchio, Ric (Mary) Marchio, and Greg (Concetta) Marchio; special cousin, Nancy (John) Heida; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; dog, Guido.  Preceded in death by father, Paul Marchio.  Memorials to the Josie Harper Hospice House or Way N Train Terrier Rescue.
