Alice M. (Weiss) Bohan

February 15, 1924 — April 11, 2015

Born and raised in Omaha. Attended St. Bernard's Parish and School, Holy Name High School, and St. Catherine's School of Nursing. Served in the Marines in WWII. Was a professional nurse for many years. She and her husband Harold raised their family in Brookfield, IL and returned to Omaha in 1980 where they were longtime members of St. James Parish. She enjoyed needlework, word games, jigsaw puzzles and reading. Preceded in death by husband Harold; sister Tess Perry; brothers, Fran and Ray Weiss. Survived by children, Michael (Linda Meyer) Bohan, Martin (Janelle) Bohan, David (Kay Kemp) Bohan, Stephen Bohan, Barbara (Lynn) Jester, Terry (Lisa) Bohan, Richard (Pam) Bohan, James (Lyn) Bohan, Karen (John) Cantelmo; sisters, Rita Couch, Ceil Zuerlein; brothers, Bernie, Jerry, and Bob Weiss; 19 grandchildren.



Services:

10am Wednesday, April 15, 2015, St. James Church, Omaha, NE.



Visitation:

Tuesday, April 14, 2015, starting at 5:30pm with Wake Service at 7pm at the 72nd St. Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials Catholic Charities.
