Diana L. Kraynak

October 25, 1947 – August 13, 2022

Diana was born in New Jersey to Joseph and Sara Pierce, and spent her formative years in South Carolina and Florida. She married William Kraynak, whose 20-year military career took them to bases throughout the United States. While raising two boys as a proud military wife, she earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, later becoming a Certified Master Social Worker (CMSW), and worked as a counselor. Diana's pride and joy was her family. She dedicated her life to making sure her husband and children were cared for. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking her famous chocolate chip cookies. She was a devout Christian, and a sentimental and caring soul.

She is survived by Bill, her husband of 55 years; son, Greg (Michelle) and their children, Beckett and Talia; son, Mark and his children, Shelby and Tanner and their mother, Laura; brothers, Chip (Evi), and Reece (Dasa) Pierce; sisters, Sally (Bob) Lovern, Maybin (Wayne) Grimm, and Cathy (Jimmy) Donohue; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by mother Sara; twin sister Donna; step-father John Taylor; and father Joseph Pierce.

CELEBRATION of LIFE will be held in late October at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries in Bellevue, NE. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to a local Humane Society.
