b. June 16, 1924

Born in Greeley County Nebraska. Preceded by parents; wife, Helen; brothers, Tom, Jack; sister, Claire O'Connell. Survived by sons, Pat (Luann Dugger), Bill; daughters, Ann (Brian) Kramer, Maureen (John) Fieberg; grandsons, Jon (Tara), Ben (Renee), Chris Kramer; granddaughters, Elizabeth (Justin) Chalen, Claire Fieber; step grandson, Brian Leary; great grandsons, Ryan, Oliver and Felix Kramer; great granddaughters, Savannah, Lucia, Julia Chalen, Kelsey Kramer; sister, Mary Lou Gilroy; sisters-in-law, Irma (Art) Reicks, Alcira Steenson; brother-in-law, Jerry Schulte; 71 nieces and nephews; many grandnieces and nephews. Jerry was a life-long Catholic baptized June 20, 1924 and ordained permanent Deacon October 24, 1982. He was a member of St. Leo the Great Parish and Knights of Columbus. Over the years Jerry and Helen were involved in Christian Family Movement, Cursillo, Marriage Encounter and Charismatic Renewal. Jerry was a pilot in the AAF in WWII, graduated a Mechanical Engineer from Marquette University and spent his working life in the Mechanical Contracting Industry as Project Engineer, Sales Manager and Purchasing Agent of J J Hanighen Co; Project Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Assistant Vice President of Natkin Co; retiring as Vice President and Chief Estimator of Mainelli Mechanical Contractors, Inc. After retirement, he devoted his life to Prison, Hospital and Church Ministries.



Services:

Tuesday, March 31, 2015, 10am at St. Leo the Great Church, Omaha, NE. VISITATION Monday, March 30, 2015, starting at 5pm with 7pm WAKE SERVICE all at St. Leo the Great Church. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to be directed to the family.
