Helen A. Noble

Helen Ann Shearer Noble passed away peacefully on May 12, 2021 at Vitas Hospital in Carrollton TX. Helen was born on October 5, 1943 in Omaha NE.



She is preceded in death by her Mother Louise Harris Shearer, Sister Katharine Shearer Falk and former husband David Noble.



She is survived by her daughter Christina Lynn Hughes, son-in-law John Glenn Hughes, grandson Brady, sister Margaret Shearer Poupard and brother-in-law Greg Poupard of Omaha, sister-in-law Judy Noble, 3 nephews, 5 nieces and many friends that were more like family.



Helen attended Central High School in Omaha where she enjoyed cheerleading. She then went on to the University of Nebraska where she graduated with a degree in Education and was a proud member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.



She was married to David Noble from 1966-1984. While married she lived in New Orleans, Seattle, Sterling Heights MI and finally settled in Richardson, TX. She spent over 20 years working for Richland Community College in the Continuing Education Department. It was here that she made many lifelong friends and was somewhat of a resident "Mother" to all those who knew her.

She loved baking, reading, planting tomatoes, watching football and spending time with friends & family especially her grandson Brady. She almost never missed attending one of his activities. Her favorite team was of course the Nebraska Cornhuskers. While living in Richardson she was also an avid bridge player, member of the Delta Gamma Alumni Association and in the earlier years, a member of Richardson's Newcomer's Club.



Graveside Service Tuesday, 10:30am at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for later donation.
