James H. Hausman

Preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hausman;

brother, Leon Hausman and parents, Ann and Fred Hausman.



He is survived by his children, David (Laura) Hausman, Dennis (Jill) Hausman, Kathy (Tony) Allington, Michael (Angela) Hausman; grandchildren, Amy, Jacque, Mandi, Lindsey, Ross, Joe and Carrie Hausman, Christina, James and Nicole Allington; six great-grandkids.



He liked to play pranks on people, such as placing some ceramic mushrooms in the woods to fool people.



He was generous to the community by helping the Food Bank, the Siena Francis House and participating in the annual Alzheimer's Association Walk.



He loved to sing Elvis songs to his wife while holding her or dancing with her.



Loved teaching his grandkids how to play cards, and would have a weekly poker game with his brothers and brothers in law.



He was warm and welcoming to outsiders.



James always enjoyed the monthly birthday lunches with his siblings. If there was not a birthday, they would celebrate a niece or nephew's birthday.



He joined the U. S. Army in 1956 and became a cook, and received an Honorable Discharge in 1959.







SERVICES: Tuesday, Jan. 26th, at 12 Noon at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Interment: Omaha National Cemetery.
