Obituary for James P. Muessel

James Patrick Muessel passed away on July 25, 2019. He was born May 19, 1970 in Omaha, Nebraska to Gerald and Mary Muessel.
He is survived by his children Evan and Lauryn, their mother, Dee Muessel, brothers John (Patti) Muessel and Tim (Julie) Muessel and sister Beth (Eileen) Muessel and significant other Naomi Borst along with nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald, mother, Mary and his grandparents.
Jim grew up at Woodcliff Lake where he attended school at District #11 and Fremont High School. He graduated from Wayne State College in 1993 with a degree in business management. He spent his career working in the transportation industry.
He will long be remembered for his passion for Husker football, his love for Woodcliff, his favorite holiday - July 4th, reciting his favorite movie lines, his ability to make people laugh and his great "bear" hugs.
