Jennifer L. Vanherpen

Jennifer Lynn (Jones) VanHerpen, 39, of Papillion, Nebraska died January 23, 2018, after battling Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer.

She was born July 21, 1978 in Harvey, ND to Mark and Cindy (Dockter) Jones. She graduated from Salida High School in 1997 and went to college in Pueblo, CO where she met her husband Steve. They were married in 1999.

Jen spent her working years in the banking business. She enjoyed traveling to Rome and spending time at Disneyland with her family. She also enjoyed crafting, reading, and playing family games. Friends and family said she will be remembered as a loving, caring, compassionate, strong person who was always full of life and laughter.

Jen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and DeVella Vik; niece and nephew Jasmine and Nathan VanHerpen.



She is survived by her husband, Steve; children: Kaylynne (18), Soryn (11) and Kenton (7); parents Mark & Cindy Jones; brother, Kyle (Tish) Jones; niece and nephews, Pamela, Cameron and Zachary Jones; grandparents, Lyle and Grace Jones; father and mother-in-law, Ken and Pam VanHerpen; sisters-in-law, Stacey Da Silva and Samantha VanHerpen; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorials and cards may be sent to the funeral home for the children’s education.
