Bellevue, NE. John served as an officer in the US Air Force for 20 years. He was an avid bird watcher, reader and loved sports. Preceded in death by parents, George and Cora Gordon; sister, Karen Griffin. Survived by wife of 57 years, Darlene; daughter, Kristin (Rex) Lukow; son, Kyle Gordon; grandchildren, Jordan (Shanda) Lukow, Logan (Katie) Lukow, and Elise (James) Mickelson; great grandchildren, Eliana, Brinley, Liam, Roland, and Scarlett; niece, Cora Dillin; nephew, Eric Griffin. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wounded Warriors or Thanksgiving Lutheran Church.
