Kathleen, "Kay" (Calvert) Bohacek

She was preceded in death by parents, Eustelle Gilligan Calvert and Hal Leonard Calvert; siblings, Lillian Korpela, Rosemary Ridenour, Regina Calvert, James E. Calvert.



Survived by sister, SallyMcAvin; husband Robert Bohacek.



Kay was a Navy wife for over 23 years and during that time was a volunteer for the Red Cross, Navy Relief and the Girl Scouts.



She was a long-time member of the Christ the King Guild, as well as Catholic Daughters.



Kay was a 1943 graduate of St. Johns High and UNO in 1985 with a B.A.



Homemaking and related skills what she truly enjoyed. She and her husband, Bob, enjoyed entertaining family and friends both before and after retiring. They traveled several times to the gardens and art museums of England and Europe.



Their loving family included Elizabeth Rooney Callahan, Eileen (Randy) Drew, Jos. Rob Bohacek, Jr., Emily Nielsen, Matthew John (Cheryl) Bohacek. She also has ten grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren.



Services:

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 10:00 A.M. at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Resurrection Cemetery
