Lawrence "Larry" J. Venn

He is preceded in death by parents, Elbert & Erma Venn, and Hope Scott. Survived by wife, Ronna; sons, Matthew (Katrina), Andrew (Marcie); grandchildren, Zachary Lawrence, Joshua Edward, & Alexander James (Matthew), Mason James and Jack William (Andrew); brothers, Elbert (LeAnn) Venn and Steven (Ann) Venn.



Larry was born in Des Moines, IA. He graduated from Oak Park Academy in Nevada, IA and attended both Union College (Lincoln, NE) and the University of Nebraska Omaha. Larry was then honored to serve 4 years in the United States Air Force. He worked with APICS as the Chapter President, the SSW Omaha YMCA on the Board of Directors, the Oak Park Academy Alumni Association as an active member, and the YMCA Indian Guides as a Federation Chief under the name Iron Horse. He was a gifted youth sports coach and had a passion for golf. He was loved as a husband, father, and granddad.
