Madelyn L. Pugsley

October 23, 1944 — September 17, 2022

Dolly was born in New Kensington, PA and resided in Omaha, NE for the past 33 years.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward J Pugsley, Sr, parents George Carl and Mary Elizabeth Bercel and brother George Bercel.

Dolly is survived by her heartbroken children Jennifer (Brian) Klausen, Edward Jr (Amy) Pugsley, Daniel (fiancé Ashley Bergmann and ex-wife Tricia) Pugsley all of Omaha and Timothy (Amanda) Pugsley of Mankato, MN along with her adoring grandchildren Austin (Jenni) and Abigail (fiancé Chase Spinning) Klausen, Madelyn, Emma and Jordan Pugsley and Dominic Pugsley; sister Dianne Makara (Richard Marmo) and sister in law Sandy Bercel.

Dolly loved the simple and meaningful things in life. Time spent with her children and grandchildren, a chat on the porch, the smell of the outdoors, her flowers, visits from her neighborhood squirrels for a peanut (or ten), the bluejays and cardinals singing to her and the monarch butterflies who brought her comfort and messages. She loved to reminisce about her and Ed’s love story. The day they met, their first date, weekends full of dancing and the 42 years of marriage shared until he passed. She has now joined her Savior Jesus Christ and her husband who has been waiting for her in paradise for fourteen years to dance once again. Rest Mom – you have earned it.
