Everyone knew him as Uncle Mike. He was a kind man who put those closest to him before everyone else. He was memorable to everyone he encountered as he would always start conversation and fill it with his positivity. Mike worked hard his entire life all the way until the end because he was a man of duty. Duty for his country first and foremost, duty for his work, and most of all, duty for his friends. Mike was always there for those in need and would do everything in his power to help. His concern for others was so much greater than himself. The kindness he brought into this world will leave an impression that will never be able to be filled, so we will cherish the memories he gave us and learn from the mistakes he taught us not to make.
