Michelle Ann Haessler

Michelle was born in Pasadena, CA and grew up in Long Beach. She graduated high school at 15, and then went on to graduate from UCLA at 19. She went to Athens Georgia for graduate school in psychology. From there she went into medical school in her 30’s at the University of Nevada in Reno. She did a year of her residency in Las Vegas, but finished her residency in radiation oncology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Her first Job was in Cape Cod Massachusetts. She then moved to Omaha and went to work at Creighton University. After a couple of years she started to work at Jennie Edmonson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. She retired about 10 years ago, but still did locums in Iowa and Nebraska. She loved her work and was loved by her patients and staff. She loved to travel and went on 5-6 blues cruises. She also loved bike riding!

She is Survived by her husband George, daughter Susanne, daughter in law Makalah, son in laws Adam and Noah, and 7 Grandkids.
