Mildred "Milly" (Yanney) (Deeb) Shada

August 21, 1924 — October 21, 2017

Milly graduated from Kearney High School where she was active in journalism and as a drum majorette. Following high school she she worked at the Kearney Airbase processing officers papers during World War II. Milly was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who lived a life of service to others. She was an Active member of St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church, The Phoenician Club of Omaha and the Beta sigma Phi Sorority.

Preceded in death by parents, Mary and E.K. Yanney; husband, Ken Shada; 4 sisters; 3 brothers.

Survived by children, Norma Deeb, Tony (Claudia) Deeb, Carol Deeb Patseas, Kevin (Kris) Shada, Van Deeb; grandchildren, Michael Shada, Ben Deeb, Courtney Deeb, Amalia Patseas, Stathi Patseas; great grandson, Trey Deeb; brother, Michael (Gail) Yanney; numerous nieces and nephews.



Services:

Saturday (10-28-17) 10:30 AM at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, Omaha, Nebraska.



Visitation:

Friday (10-27-17) 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a Memorial Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, Omaha, Nebraska.



Interment:

Evergreen Memorial Park, Omaha, Nebraska.

St. George Orthodox Church, Kearney, Nebraska or St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, Omaha, Nebraska and The Yanney Heritage Park Foundation.
