Russell R. Sibbel

Russell was born in Carroll, IA to Melvin and Leona Sibbel. He received his undergrad from University of Iowa and Law Degree from University of Nebraska. Russell proudly served his country; retiring from the USAF and then working as a Civil Servant at Offutt AFB. He was most recently the Program Counsel for the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency at Offutt AFB. Preceded in death by his father; sister, Mary Carol Sibbel; brother-in-law, Dick McClaren. Survived by mother; brother, Steven Sibbel; sisters, Kathryn Sibbel (Glen Giacoletto) and Jennifer McClaren; 2 nieces; 1 nephew-in-law; 1 great niece; extended family and friends.



Inurnment at a later date at the Iowa Veteran's Cemetery. Family will direct memorials.
