Sherry was a 20 + year Teacher and Librarian at Gilder Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Elmer and Betty Jane Haffke and brother, Douglas Lee Haffke.
Survived by her husband, Lloyd L. Fitch; daughters, Jenn (Scott) Clayton, Suzy LeDent (Kirk Lavengood), Katy (Joe) Cresto; grandchildren, Noah, Baylee and Brody Clayton, Jackson (Miranda Reising) and Emma LeDent; pets, Farley and Squeakers.
Visation will be held Sunday February 14th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, Pacific Street Chapel, 14151 Pacific Street Omaha, NE. 68114.
Memorials Services will be held Monday, February 15th at 11:00 AM at the John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, Pacific Street Chapel, 14151 Pacific Street Omaha, NE. 68114.
Memorials are suggested to the Omaha Public Library Foundation.
