Shirley Hanna

Shirley Ann Hanna, 88, passed away March 14, 2022.



Shirley was born on October 12, 1933 in Greeley Nebraska to William Maloney and Katherine Boone.



Her early years were spent in California; she would find her way back to Nebraska where she met the love of her life, Donald Hanna. Don and Shirley married on April 30, 1955. Though the couple were initially told they would never have children, they surprised everyone and were blessed with nine. Shirley did it all! While raising her kids, she obtained her degree in nursing and was a nurse until her retirement.



Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Nielsen, husband Donald, and son Mark.



She is survived by her children, Mary Kay (Ron) Duros, Karen (Dale) Venteicher, Matthew (Liliana), Michael, Lynn, Maureen Geiger, Patrick (Stephanie), Daniel (Sara), daughter-in-law Jeanette (wife of Mark), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
