Twyla D Humphrey

Twyla Darlyne Humphrey, February 10, 1944 to January 21, 2017, born to Ross and Darlyne Johnson, grew up in Wapello, Iowa. Preceded by parents, brothers Joe Johnson, Norman (Kay) Johnson. Twyla is survived by her son Brian (Michelle) Humphrey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; daughter Jennifer (Laren) Larson of Omaha; sisters Donna (Bill) Maddux and Opal (Dick) Taylor of Wapello; grandchildren Mariah (Derek) Boots of Cedar Rapids, Joshua Humphrey of Omaha, Justin & Morgan Humphrey of Cedar Rapids, Gannon, Kate & Levi Larson of Omaha. She married Gary Humphrey in 1963, they later divorced. Twyla graduated from Wapello Community High School in 1962. She went to Business college in Davenport, Iowa. Twyla attended University of Nebraska at Omaha and received her Masters Degree in Social Work. Twyla was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She worked at Project Sun and Tabitha in Nebraska City. She was very involved in Grief Share and was involved in many ministries at Lifegate Church.
