James Robert Nichols, age 74 of Papillion, passed away on March 22, 2024. James was born in Omaha on February 25, 1950 and attended Tech High School. A Vietnam War veteran who served his country with the Navy, and had a strong spiritual presence that he took pride in sharing with others. He was also a lover of classic cars, golden oldies and a good-ole-fashioned good time. James always had a smile on his face and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Leona Nichols; sister, Joan Furrow. Survived by sister, Sharon (David) Carlson; nieces, Jody (Brian) Burgeson, Laura (Ryan) Troxel, Julie (Mike) Jones, John Furrow, David (Marj) Carlson; 5 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
