Mark Edward Treinen, age 65, is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Patricia Treinen. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ursula; sons, Tom (Melanie) and Charlie (Amber); daughters, Mary (Todd), Katrin (Barney), Samantha, and Rachel; brothers, Rick (Mary), David (Wendy), and Paul; and sisters, Laura (Greg) and Katie (Mike). He was beloved “Opa” to eight grandchildren, Carson, Liam, Gloria, Ben, Clara, Alice, Emily, and Jaxon.



Mark was proud to be born and raised in Omaha, NE. He graduated valedictorian from Rummel/Roncalli High School in 1973 and earned his degree at Creighton University in 1976. Mark began his career at Peat Marwick/KPMG and, in 1981, joined Valmont Industries, where he was known and loved as a dedicated leader for 33 years. Mark’s devotion to his family and close friends was matched by his commitment to helping those in need; he actively served the community through his work for Sheltering Tree, Catholic Charities, Marian High School, St. Roberts Foundation Board, and Youth Emergency Services. Mark’s unbeatable sense of humor, immense wisdom, and strength of character will be greatly missed by those blessed to know him.



VISITATION observing CDC guidelines: Monday, April 19th, from 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 7:30pm at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 11802 Pacific St, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7:30pm.



VISITATION will also be held on Tuesday, April 20th, at St. Robert Bellarmine Church from 9:30am with a MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30am.
