Remembering Robert “Bobby” A. Leonard

Bobby was born December 16, 1976, in Omaha, Nebraska to Anthony “Sonny” & Sandra (Magnuson) Leonard. Bobby graduated from Omaha North High School.  He always believed in the big dream and always thought it was achievable. He had a big heart and loved unconditionally. Bobby was an avid sports fan and followed many teams, including the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, San Francisco 49’ers, LA Lakers, Chicago Bulls and NASCAR.  His love for Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. was unmatched.  Bobby was really into music just like his dad and grandfather.  He was very fond of his family pets.  Over the years he had numerous dogs, fish, and cats, including Patches & Kiki.  His greatest loves were his family, his children…. And Bronco’s Hickory Burgers, with ketchup.  Let’s not forget to mention his love for his well-coordinated track suits and extensive shoe collection. At the age of 46 in Omaha Nebraska, Bobby passed away suddenly on November 7, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.  He is survived by his children, Lilliana and Jackson, sisters, Stacey Buechler & Katlin Leonard, his niece and nephew, Emersyn & Mason Buechler, and countless loved ones & cherished friends.

Memorial Service Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the 72nd Street Chapel with the family receiving guests one hour prior to the service. It is requested that all attendees wear comfortable clothes as Bobby would have. The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations should be made to Bobby's children.
